This relatively short Daniel Denis composition is one of my UZ top favorites. The first class musicianship demonstrated here live on stage is outright incredible! Such a complex piece, performed so accurately... plain amazing...

No one does music quite like Camille and Xavier do. I see their music as being akin to soundtracks for unfilmed movies. In this instance it is a movie about explorers of mountainous terrain, perhaps the terrain of our lives. Merci pour cette musique si intrigante. :-) sumbuk

It's not only great jazz you get from MoonJune, of course. The stable is rich with talent from the forefront of progressive music.
This sampler gives two and a half hours of those riches to tempt you into investigating talent you may not have been aware of before.
Listen. Enjoy. Peter Jones

got recc'd this on youtube and loved it- reminds me a lot of late 60's and early 70's records i used to hear playing out of my parents' stereo on sweltering summer days. OPAL
The two epic tracks on the latest from BC group Lakeman are mind-melters, opening slow and pensive before erupting into near-doom metal. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 4, 2022
