LA FAULX - 25'19"
Composition : Daniel DENIS + Collective UZ
Text : Guy SEGERS
From the album « Hérésie » by UNIVERS ZERO (18/03/1979)
(Atem-Recommended records-Cuneiform)
This little « ballad", is mainly describing the struggle we had against the Belgian official under-realism and absurd bureaucracy.
A great work of surrealism in which me and the other members of the band put a lot of our selves, and still isn’t recognized in Belgium 40 years later.
Something that could have given Kafka some material for ten times his actual bibliography!

The two epic tracks on the latest from BC group Lakeman are mind-melters, opening slow and pensive before erupting into near-doom metal. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 4, 2022
