ROWIAL Love the whole album. An 11-piece band with a kind of fine canter-jazz-bu-RIO in the early 90s. Know what I mean? USPs: 1 male & 1 female singer (Marianne Pousseur's intonation is not allways satisfying) and 1 acoustic guitarist. Reference points, not always close: M. Westbrook's bigger "windy" formations employing fretless ebass & Kate Westbrook and Phil Minton as singers. Also Kew.Rhone, the legendary project from P. Blegvad & J.
